Family Life Pastor
A Penn State graduate, Bill served in the U.S. Army and also worked in the Federal prison system as a regional facilities administrator. Upon retirement, Bill Oakley joined the staff here at Immanuel in 2004. He has served as Family Life Pastor since then doing house visits, counseling, and providing care for the members of Immanuel. He and his wife Joyce have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
Ryan Diffenderfer is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute. He joined the staff at Immanuel in 2015. Ryan strives to build strong relationships with youth, providing counseling and encouragement along with leading the Warehouse group in weekly services and Bible studies. Ryan and his wife Melanie have 3 children: Bryson, Emerie, and Asher. Outside of church they enjoy trips to local parks, board games, and hanging out with friends. Derek is the worship leader at Immanuel Church. He is a full-time employee of the Red Clay School District as a tech specialist. He is an accomplished musician who leads worship for Immanuel on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, along with performing special music, and playing for special events. Derek has been on staff at Immanuel since 1997. He and his wife Renie have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
Valerie has served on staff at Immanuel Church since 1998. In 2006-07 Valerie attended California Baptist University in Riverside, CA to complete her certificate in Church Business Administration. She does a great job of taking care of Immanuel's facilities and makes sure things run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
